 Cannot fix wrong license server IP address, I switched server IP but Softaculous refuse to update license IP (4 Replies, Read 6789 times)

Hello guys, hope you can help me fix this as it should be easy for you.

I'm using Softaculous on cPanel.
Softaculous was previously activated for IP xxx.yyy.104.148.
I had to reload the OS to repurpose the cPanel and now its IP is xxx.yyy.104.149.
I edited the IP in my Softaculous license page from .148 to .149.
cPanel is now installed and working on the .149 IP.

But the Softaculous screen shows it has a free License, which should be fixed by clicking on "Refreshing License" but isn't. It simply says:

Server IP: xxx.yyy.104.149
Expires:Never
IP as per licensing server : xxx.yyy.104.148

What I can edit or refresh to change that .148 IP to .149 and make the license work?
I'll appreciate the help.

Hi,

We will need to remove the Free IP from your new IP.

Then you can edit the IP for your existing license from your Client area to the new IP.

After this you can refresh the license from Softaculous admin panel.

If you can open a support ticket with us we can remove the Free license from your new IP :

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

It looks like the public IP for your server is still -.148

I updated the Softaculous license back to -.148

Please click on the Refresh License link in Softaculous admin panel and refresh the license.

Do let us know if you still face the issue.
