 New Install: Unable to select database 1, XEN option on Ubuntu 14.04 (4 Replies, Read 23656 times)

During the install on a new machines running the script as:
./install.sh email=xxxxx@xxxx.com kernel=xen lvg=vg
I get the following error in step 3 (3) Downloading and Installing Virtualizor)Unable to select database 1
The virtualizor.log ends with this:Initializing MySQL database:
groupadd: group 'mysql' already exists
useradd: user 'mysql' already exists
/usr/local/emps/bin/mysqlctl: 284: /usr/local/emps/bin/mysqlctl: /usr/bin/mysql_install_db: not found
chown: cannot access `/usr/local/emps/var/mysql': No such file or directory
Any ideals?
chmod: cannot access `/usr/local/emps/var/mysql': No such file or directory
Could not install the MySQL DB

Looks to me like you are not using a fresh server to install on, and it already had a version of mysql pre installed?

Is this a fresh minimal ubuntu install?

Hi ZXHost, This was a fresh install of Ubuntu.  The log line (already exists) is there as I ran the script a second time after the first error.  But the previous log was the same except for that line. 
Fresh server build.

SOLVED- This is an Ubuntu 14.04.02 issue.  I tried fresh installs 3 times same results.  But as per support, they asked me to test with Centos.  I used Centos 6.6 and it worked the first time.
