 Softaculous Enterprise not working, Softaculous Enterprise not working (3 Replies, Read 2605 times)

Status:
Installed a brand new LAMP server.
Then installed Softaculous Enterprise.
When try to access http://162.250.145.253:2006/
getting the message  "Could not connect to database"

I have edited the file /usr/local/softaculous/conf/ent/emps/my.cnf
to reflect the correct mysql password
[client]
port = 3178  #have also tired with poprt 3306
password  = correct_my_sql_password
socket  = /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

Also saw the file /usr/local/emps/var/log/mysqld.log
no errors, the file is blank.
