I need to stop the ongoing backup process. Can i know the steps to stop it

Hi,

You will need to stop the backup process manually.
You can kill the ongoing task of backup using ps command.
Also you will need to delete the backup directory created on that date.

Which process is for the backup? I can't seem to find it under "top" command.

Hi,


You can search for that task using : ps aux |grep vpsbackup*
Also remove temporary backup directories  (in case of remote backup server) and LV created by backup process.
