Topic : Ioncube Loader Error

Posted By: zparri77 on October 17, 2017, 7:52 pm
Hello I've had AMPPS for some time now and all of a sudden today I tried to get to the localhost/ampps home page to set up a new website and I was unable to. It gave me the error:

Quote
Fatal error: The file /Applications/AMPPS/ampps/softaculous/enduser/inc.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0

I've checked all the php version files and they all contain the ioncube loader which is where I am confused to why this enduser php file can't be decoded.

I have Googled and Youtubed a bunch of things. I even deleted and reinstalled AMPPS and still nothing works. Please help anyone

Hi,

You are facing this issue because your ioncube loader is old.
Update ioncube loader or update Ampps.

To update ioncube loader do this:

Go to https://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php and download OS X (32 bits) zip file.

Extract ioncube_loaders_dar_x86.zip , copy ioncube_loader_dar_5.3.so and paste it to /Applications/AMPPS/php-5.3/lib/extensions/ directory.

Restart Ampps.

To update Ampps, follow this guide:

Can confirm same error on Windows, and downloading ioncube_loaders_win_vc9_x86.zip and copying ioncube_loader_win_5.3.dll to the php-5.3 directory (despite running php 5.6), fixed the problem for me.

Thanks bay879!

Replacing the ioncube_loader_win_5.3.dll in the Ampps\php-5.3 with the latest file from ioncube_loaders_win_vc9_x86.zip from https://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php worked well for me too.

(I'm running php5.5 on 64bit Windows but that didn't matter)

Hi I have the same problem as zparri77 but I am in windows and I am not sure where the files need to be pasted.
I found them in different directory in ampps, replaced them and wordpress is working fine but the dashboard with all scripts still is showing me the error as zparri77

Ancy advice?
Mike

I have the same problem.
Replacing the ioncube_loader_win_5.3.dll in /Applications/AMPPS/php-5.3/lib/extensions/ with the latest file of OS X (32 bits) zip file from https://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php worked well for me too.
Anyway, why the 64 bits version doesn't work for my macos?

Hi,

I saw the same Ioncube Loader Error, so I followed your instructions and downloaded an updated version of Ampps for Mac.  Everything got extracted and I got the message: "Everything is ok."

I restarted Ampps and now have a problem -- I cannot see anything when I go to localhost in my browser.

This is the message on my browser: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I went back to the control panel for Ampps and see these settings:
Apache - off
MySQL - on/running
MongoDB - off
PureFTPd - on/running

Seems like Apache should be running, but I can't turn it on.

Can you please help?
