I have a server running about 30 odd Wordpress installations.

Yesterday, I imported the WordPress installations into Softaculous and activated auto update for everything - core, plugins, themes.

It has now been 24 hours and none of the sites have updated. From what I read, the process is usually performed once daily.

When can I expect the auto-update to occur?

Am I missing something that needs to scheduled to make it happen?

Hi,

Softaculous cron executes once daily and all the auto-updates take place during the process.

Please check if you have following file present on your server:
/etc/cron.d/softaculous

If yes, please let us know the contents for the same.

Also, you can execute the cron command from the following link based on your control panel manually to check if Softaculous is updating the installations, plugins and themes or not.

Hi,  Yes that file exists.

Contents:
45 14 * * * root /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/cron.php >> /dev/null 2>&1

I also executed the script as suggested and this is all I got:

After executing the Softaculous cron manually, has the auto upgrade not yet performed?

If no, please open a support ticket with us at https://www.softaculous.com/support/ and provide us with your server root details in the ticket and a test account where we may debug the issue.
