 Losing Admin panel on localhost (2 Replies, Read 5752 times)

This seems kind of dumb, but I've been developing on XAMPP for years, and just tried to switch over to AMPPS. Installed it, all looked good, made some config changes, then going to localhost, I just get a directory listing. I can go into localhost/myadmin and all works, but no admin page on localhost.

I reinstall. Admin page back. Change PHP version to 5.5. Admin page gone -- just directory again:
[DIR]    cgi-bin/    2014-05-25 22:22    -   
[DIR]    error/    2014-05-25 22:22    -   
[IMG]    favicon.ico    2013-01-29 14:18    1.1K   
[DIR]    myadmin/    2014-05-20 00:33    -   

Using control center, revert to "Restore Default Configuration", back to PHP 5.3, but still just the directory on localhost.

Any suggestions what I might be doing wrong or how else I can get to the admin page again?

Reading it over, I realized I was unclear -- I did get the admin page on localhost each time I installed I did in fact get the admin page on localhost. It was only after I made some minor changes it disappeared....

Hi,

Ampps does not come with any folder or alias myadmin

I guess XAMPP apache is getting started for some reason.
