Hi Softaculous, and thanks for the great product!

Somethng odd started to happen an hour or so ago - I run approx. dozen of sites on three different Apache servers, all with Softaculous.

All are set to "Do not Auto Upgrade".

And ALL of them went to Auto Upgrade within the last hour, mainly to WP 5.5.2 (and only one to 5.0.11, for some reason).

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

If the auto upgrades were disabled they should not be updated by Softaculous.

However WordPress itself has an auto upgrade feature which is enabled by default for Minor versions i.e. it will apply the patches within the same branch e.g. 5.0.x will be auto upgraded by WordPress to the latest version in 5.0.x branch. Similarly 5.5.x will be upgraded to latest version in 5.5.x branch.

I see WordPress released 5.5.3 on October 30th which is when you posted this and it looks like WordPress auto upgraded your installation.

Do let us know if you have any questions.
