Not only the second, nor the third nor any ...

Hi,

I think in the end I'm going crazy and maybe it's impossible and do.

You will see in an Openvz machine if it is possible to add ips failover from ovh to that machine. These ips work correctly from vps. Respond to ping from the internet.

The problem comes with KVM machines.

- You create a KVM machine, you assign an ip failover to this machine. All right. The machine works, and responds to ping in your ip. OKAY.

Now we add a second ip failover, we create the ip pool.
We add the gateway ip server.254, mascara and dns, and we create the ips with your mac.

Just as we did for openvz, same.

We add an ip of the pool to the vps that we have created and working.

Turn off and on the vps.

And the added ip does not respond to ping, nor is it visible from the internet.

There is no way to make it work, and I do not know if the problem is that it can not.

Hi,

If you are adding additional IPs to the KVM VPS the MAC for all the IPs assigned the VPS should be the same as the Primary (first) IP assigned to the VPS.

You will need to generate the same MAC for all the IPs assigned to the VPS from OVH, it should be the MAC of the primary IP.
