Hi,

We have reviewed the script but the install process of this script requires modifications in the Apache configuration and the users on serves do not have access to apache configuration.

Isn't ampps dedicated to development more than production ?

Do you mean webuzo could handle this ?

Posted By: Brijesh on May 17, 2013, 10:19 am | Post: 11
Hi,

The scripts available in AMPPS are available in Softaculous Plugin as well and for Softaculous plugin (installed on cpanel) the user does not have access to to the conf files.

Yes, i suspected it was for the Softaculousreason :) but what about webuzo ?

Posted By: Brijesh on May 17, 2013, 10:36 am | Post: 13
Hi,

At the moment we do not have provision to enable scripts in Webuzo and disable in Softaculous. The Java apps are available in Webuzo as it is a separate type i.e. java.

We will try to add provision to allow scripts in particular product.

Do you think Processmaker could manage in a different way ? ie so not modifying apache conf ? so we could ask them a solution for that

Posted By: Brijesh on May 17, 2013, 12:44 pm | Post: 15
Hi,

We will contact the process maker team to check if there is a workaround.

Liliana answered "Don't worry, well to install ProcessMaker you do need to edit apache
conf files, in this case there's no workaround for this"

I understand this as : there is no workaround for this because we don't need too. So if she is right, what is the problem finally ?

Hi,

It seems that they meant that we need to edit the apache conf files and there is no workaround.

However it seems they have shared a guide on how to install in a shared environment. I am looking at the documentation and will give it a try.

Nice. This approach concerns ampps and softaculous as we should have not any problem with webuzo, right ?

Yes we will check it.

Hi,

I have a guide on installing ProcessMaker from a-z on a CPanel installation. Its really quite easy. I have not yet published it. I will do so soon. But in the meantime, there is a published mini guide on ProcessMaker Reporting Tables in a CPanel environment.

ProcessMaker Reporting Tables In CPanel

Hope that helps.

Maybe you need some informations from Colosa ?
If so, lizalina works at Colosa and can relay what you need to the developers.

As :
  • the work is in progress
  • colosa support is possible
What is the blocking point ?

Hi,

We have started working on Processmaker and we came across an issue where it requires us to create a subdomain which points to processmaker/workflow/public_html folder.

It is not possible to add a subdomain for installing a script we will need to have a workaround where we can install Processmaker on an existing domain.

I have also emailed to liliana regarding the same.
