Topic : OwnCloud Installation fails - Could not access your domain

Posted By: FlensGold on April 30, 2017, 10:01 am
Hello,
I just wanted to install owncloud via Webuzo installer. Previously I had it imported via Webuzo, but now wanted to manage it completely using Webuzo. The Domain for this installation is the same as it was with the imported owncloud installation and the domain returns 127.0.0.1 when pinged via console (lookup seems ok).

During installation via Webuzo installer this routine always crashes with the following error:
"Could not access your domain. Please make sure your domain is pointing to this server and there is no .htaccess file restricing access to your domain"

I made sure that there is no .htaccess in the installation folder (/home/admin/public_html) and as stated above the domain name also points at the server. Any idea what might cause this problem or what I can do?

I am testing this with owncloud 10.0 right now, but I remember that I had the same problem with the 9.X Version (which was the reason to install it external).
Best regards
