Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 5 Status:	I just downloaded the script using wget from the softaculous web page Then i got this error message: ioncube loader is not loaded. please enable it to continue installation I added this line to my php.ini: zend_extension=/usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.5.so And i still get the error message.

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5652 Status:	Hi, PHP 8.x does not have ionCube and it seems PHP 8.0 is default PHP version on your server causing this issue. If you can temporarily set the default PHP version as 7.4 and install Softaculous it will work fine. We will be releasing a new version of Softaculous to use the PHP version which has ioncube by auto detecting instead of using the default PHP version.
