I'm not a stupid person, but why won't Softaculous download any scripts into the /var/softaculous folder?

Is there a specific command to run other than the cron?

I've installed several times with no luck.  I don't understand why I can't get past this...

Software not found.....Needs Update
Deleting previous files......
Fetching Latest File......Could not SAVE latest file......Continuing

Yes, chmod and chown are correct.  Where to look next?

Hi,

In Direct Admin the root is different then the Admin.
So saving files becomes an issue when its not owned by admin.

You can run the following Shell command For Direct Admin:
Root> php /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/softaculous/cron.php

Yep, that's what I've been doing.

I've tried root, daadmin, and admin with no go.

Anymore suggestions?
