Ok so i am using whmcs and want to use WHMCS Auto Install Module to automatically install Mybb.

I have read through the docs and in the list of scripts that is listed here https://www.softaculous.com/docs/WHMCS_Auto_Install_Module#List_of_Scripts doesn't show Mybb.

So can i just add the name MyBB in to custom fields in whmcs for clients to select and it will work or would i need to make changes to the files that i upload?

Hi,

Yes sir you can simply add "MyBB" in the Custom field "Script" in WHMCS admin panel.

You do not need to change anything in the softaculous_extra.php unless you wish to change the name of Custom Fields instead of using the ones suggested here :
https://www.softaculous.com/docs/WHMCS_Auto_Install_Module#Setup_Custom_Fields

Feel free to contact us if you need any assistance.

I have tried to get this to work but am having heaps of trouble not getting whmcs/softaclous to install MyBB once the account is created. I would really love for this feature to work.

Hi,

It seems that Firewall was blocking port 2083 hence Softaculous was unable to install the script.

Alright I found one more setting that was blocking port 2083. I have it removed it should work now. Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Can you please disable the Firewall for some time and then test it again.

Because from the error logs I can see that cURL is unable to connect to your server and it is highly possible due to Firewall.
