I had a lot of issues creating storage but seems to be resolved but now when i create a vps and i want to login to ssh it won't allow me. Even when i change root password it still does not let me login to putty.

I am still in trial period so i cannot submit ticket which is strange

Please advise

If you are using kvm you need to setup the network bridge.

Is there a tutorial on how to do this for centos 6? Also, why does this need to be done to make the vm login work?
Thank you

When i get to the last part, edit the eth0 file, and restart the network i get this.. Can you tell me why that is?
I deleted everything in eth0 and replaced it with this (with the right hardware address), this is correct right?DEVICE=eth0
HWADDR=00:25:90:98:35:90
IPV6INIT=yes
IPV6_AUTOCONF=yes
ONBOOT=yes
BRIDGE=viifbr0
[root@customer ~]# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
[root@customer ~]# service network restart
Shutting down interface viifbr0:  ERROR    : [ipv6_test_device_status] Missing parameter 'device' (arg 1)
                                                          [  OK  ]
Shutting down interface eth0:  bridge viifbr0 is still up; can't delete it
                                                          [  OK  ]
Shutting down loopback interface:                          [  OK  ]
Bringing up loopback interface:                            [  OK  ]
Bringing up interface eth0:                                [  OK  ]
Bringing up interface viifbr0:  Incorrect number of arguments for command
Usage: brctl addbr <bridge>            add bridge

Hi,
Provide output of brctl show and ifconfig commands .Also there is no need to add eth0:1 .Remove that file and then try to access vps and check.

We are doing a reinstall on centos 7. See if it helps. If i remove eth0:1 the created vps and ip stop being reachable. Should i add the ip somewhere else if not that file?

Hi,
You will need to add ip pool on panel with settings provided by your data center.
