Yesterday we began getting a 403 Forbidden error when trying to access our website.

After attempting to uninstall and reinstall Ampps we cannot get Mysql to restart. The start button will not gray out. We are running the server on OS X. Do you have any tips or suggestions as to where we begin troubleshooting this?

Does this issue seem to be permissions related? I guess the first step now is to get mysql up and running and then troubleshooting the initial problem.

Hi,

Please run the following command in terminal,

/Applications/AMPPS/mysql/bin/mysqld

and let us know the error. Also please attach the mysql error log(/Applications/AMPPS/var/mysql.err) here.

Have you set any permissions for mysql or AMPPS?

I do not see MySQLD running in all processes, although that could be a possibility.
