Update emails not send, update emails not send (3 Replies, Read 1086 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hi, The update emails on my servers are not send by Softaculous. "Turn Off all Email to Endusers" and "Disable End User Update E-Mails" are not checked. I see in my cron log that the cron does run. When I try to manually send the emails there is no problem and they are send. Anyone any ideas? Thanks!

After that if you wish to send a notification you will have to send it manually. Eg : When a new version of WordPress package is released by Softaculous. The CRON downloads the package and then sends an email to users who have installed that script. Do you get emails when the package is downloaded ? >> I see in my cron log that the cron does run. Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hi Brijes, Thanks, I'm not sure if it mails when the package is downloaded. In any way I misunderstood the concept, I though it would mail every day to remind the user to install the update (idea?) I installed Wordpress myself now so I can check if it will mail me once an update is downloaded. The cron gave no errors. Thanks!

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5652 Status:	Hi, Sir if you want to test if the emails are sent when the packages are downloaded. You can delete the script package eg : /var/softaculous/wp/ and then execute the CRON command.
