Topic : Proxmox KVM vs Virtualizor, starting fresh..or?

Posted By: crazybebop on May 4, 2023, 2:28 am
Hello,

We were looking into Virtualizor, and I was wondering is there are any benefits of using Proxmox's KVM/QEMU vs bare-metal KVM that Virtualizor can install for us.

We currently have a Proxmox server running, and I was wondering if we should start from scratch, or if installing Virtualizor over Proxmox would be OK, what do you guys think?

Thank you.

Hi,

Sir if you are already using Proxmox and you want to use Virtualizor over that and use some specific Proxmox features then you can go for it.
Else you can use KVM Virtualizor, it supports different host OS and different storage types.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Can I install Virtualizor inside a kvm of a proxmox then connect to proxmox with api to create kvm/lxc machines?

Is it possible to install Virtualizor inside a kvm of a proxmox and then generate kvm/lxc machines by connecting to proxmox with the API?
