HI,

For this existing order you can enter in to the order and set Hostname for it.
While ordering the new product from Admin as well enduser, its asks for the hostname.

However you can post the screenshot of the new order .
Note: Make sure the product type is Dedicated/Vps server.

Sir,
while creating new order you have to insert the DOMAIN name that is the hostname of the server.
Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Virtualizor Support

That is ok. When I add Domain name it's ok, but!
How you know hostname and domain name is two different thinks!
Nowhere, in your documentation is not show that domain name is taken for hostname. Please update this somewhere!

Hi,

Apart from feeding domain there's a separate hostname field too.

Where you can specify the hostname.

Hi,

You are right.
Incase of admin side order, it just shows domain which is set as hostname.
I was talking about client area orders.

It's ok.
Please write some rolls in your documentation for this case, because I lost about 4 hours in search  workaround for this. Thank you in advance!

Ah, so I've been looking for an answer to this question.

So just to be clear for any other users searching, the form field name must be "hostname".

Is there a field name for the client to enter their own root password?

Hi,
There's no need to add any extra fields for hostname and password if you have set the product type as Dedicated/vps server.Domain name field by WHMCS will be taken as hostname for the vps.
