Topic : is .htaccess file auto created in WP install?

using softaculous 4.6.2, installed WP on an add-on domain, .htaccess was NOT created in file directory. sorry i cannot remember if softaculous is supposed to create .htaccess?

Hi,

Which version of WordPress are you installing via Softaculous ? Are you installing the latest version of WordPress ?

We have been creating the .htaccess since several previous versions of WordPress.
