Just installed and cant login, Login after installation fails, cant login with root password (3 Replies, Read 12560 times)

Installation went fine, can access the login page - but when i try to login with root, and root password i get a error that the username/password is incorrect. The password is correct, is there a way to reset? I dont understand why its giving me this error.

Group: Virtualizor Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 742 Status:	Hi, Are you using Proxmox 7 ? They have changed password hashing Algorithm. You can change Password Algorithm to sha512 from yescrypt and then changed password on ssh using passwd command for root user and then you can login to Virtualizor panel : nano /etc/pam.d/common-password (attached screenshot) We have not tested it fully yet. Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	Can also confirm this works with Proxmox 7 in a 3 node Cluster. 7.0-11 This is a development node also running the latest version of Ceph 16.2.5. Thanks for posting this.
