So webuzo is sending the emails as the

username of the panel @ hostname

so if userpanel login is chris

its sending out emails as

Chris@website.com and its conflicting with the php() mail from is there a way to configure this to get changed it is also a security issue because it reveals the username of the log in panel.

the php mail is sending an email like support@website.com but because its using the username of the panel the emails are ending up as spam immediately.

Its not so much in terms of installation is that any php() mail being sent is using the username of the panel. as the from header. I believe it may be linked to exim, but I have no idea how to change the settings of exim since if I add something to the config settings exim service stops launching. would it be possible.

Emails all are being sent with the from header as soft@website.net, need to change this think it may be linked to the need of a re-write rule but I don't know how to implement it.

Hi alanwake,

You can change the From Header via Admin panel.

Admin Panel->Settings->General->General Settings->From Email Address
