Topic : Localhost - This site can’t be reached

HELP!
I only installed AMPPS yesterday and spent all night creating a wp website and now I am getting the above error when trying to login to my localhost wordpress admin.

I rebooted pc, checked apache and mysql are running in AMPPS panel.
I can access my localhost/ampss website ok.

I am not very tech savy but have tried every solution I can find online and am now close to tears at the thought of losing the past 12 hours work.

I was installing a few plugins just before it went off if that helps.

Sorry, forgot to mention (and cant see how to edit my last post)... The error message did change to a few different things, mostly along the lines of can't connect to the database, but has now gone back to the normal 'can't be reached' one.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

It looks like the plugin might be causing the issue.

If you remember the plugin you installed last can you please try to rename the directory of that plugin to something else e.g. (adding _bak to the directory name). The plugin files are present at :
/path/to/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/

Also can you try checking the Apache Error Logs and see if you find anything there ?
