Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 6 Status:	We use Softaculous through CPanel on our host server and are very happy with it.Our current dilemma is while using Joomla to upgrade from version 2.5.6 up to the recommended 3.3.6.Even though we were advised on the joomla forum to use the manual upgrade feature to get Softaculous to actually accept the new version designation we are not able to perform a full restore (on any of our sites) as it is still somehow seeing the version as the 2.5 series, not series 3.We are not willing to update the versions until we can successfully restore , for obvious reason.We are testing on a backup of the manually modified 3.36 version. Tested two different small sites in case one was flawed.See attached screen shot of the window and the errors.Appreciate your help in resolving this.
