Another trip.
When you are happy with your email settings, as seems you are in the past in shared hosting check your email are setup well for not going into SPAM.

You can use the test at this address:
https://www.mail-tester.com/

Do IT when you are happy with all settings. You may discover you need setup other things if your score is not good.

Great, you issue is solved.
Now your STARTTLS is working weel.

Port 465 was closed and also you need some help in configuring Thunderbird.
Now you have to work on your email SPAM point on the website
https://www.mail-tester.com/

Also was my confusion.

STARTTLS work on port 25 and not 465 so in Thunderbird just put Auto on the port and select STARTLS for outgoing email.

If you receive error is maybe a warning windows who ask to add exception for the certificate.

Your initial issue seems to be resolved now.
