Topic : AMPPS 3.4 Not Working

Posted By: griffiti on January 21, 2016, 11:37 pm
I've been running AMPPS 3.3 on my Windows 7 box for many months without any issues. This afternoon AMPPS popped up a message asking if I wanted to upgrade. So I clicked YES and proceeded. After the initial upgrade I could not load AMPPS. PHP complained about not being able to load any extension DLLs.

So I completely uninstalled AMPPS. Then I installed 3.4 clean. When I try to run AMPPS, it asks if I want to upgrade and then shuts down.

I am experiencing almost exactly the same issue with my attempt to upgrade to AMPPS 3.4.  Following AMPPS support's suggestion, I checked my SYSTRAY (bottom right corner of the Windows 7 desktop) for any "hidden" AMPPS Control Center, http://screencast.com/t/WH0o6JRpfxJ .  None existed.  I had to fall back to AMPPS v3.3 for the time being.

Check this thread for a solution although AMPPS team says they have fixed this bug now.
