Download http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar and run it with Code /Applications/AMPPS/php/bin/php -d detect_unicode=0 path/to/go-pear.phar set paths as per your requirement, after installation you should find pear binary in bin folder of pear. Follow PEAR Manual in case of any problem, http://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.php After successful installtion of PEAR, you will have to manually change the AMPPS conf file i.e /Applications/AMPPS/conf/php-<ACTIVE-PHP>.ini from /Applications/AMPPS/php/etc/php.ini And after installing PEAR, installing PHPUnit won't be a problem.
