Hi all.
So I have a custom WP plugin, which is installed manually through the WP Admin just fine.
Following the WordPress Admin Manage Sets knowledgebase article, I create a WordPress Set with this custom plugin, another plugin from WordPress.org (search) and a theme from WordPress.org (search) as well.
Then I use this set when I install WordPress via Softaculous. The plugin and the theme from WordPress.org are installed just fine, but not my custom plugin. It's not even installed and therefore not activated.

Has anyone tried the "Upload Plugin" feature with a WordPress Set? Does it even work? I can't find this option in User Panel, so it makes me think there's a bug in Softaculous rather than a problem with my custom plugin.

Hi,

Can you please check if your plugin zip file has the plugin-name/pluginname.php structure ?

E.g. hello-world/hello-world.php

I've repacked it to have only a single .php file within the .zip - it didn't help

Hi,

No the zip should not have a php file directly. It should have a folder and then the PHP file within that folder.

If you still face the issue please open a support ticket with us with your plugin zip file so we can check the issue for you :
