after one follwos the install of roundcube it drops you at a login screen
where and how do you get to the configuration file ?

Hi,

You will have to use your email account details i.e. your email
address and password to your email address to login to your RoundCube
installation.

Also make sure to use the correct "IMAP Settings" while installing
RoundCube. For eg : If you are using Gmail use "Server Address" =
"imap.gmail.com", "Connection Type" = "SSL", "IMAP Port" = "993"

And your roundcube config file is store in
Ampps_Installed_Directory\www\roundcube\config\config.inc.php

But I haven't entered my email address or password anywhere yet so how would it know it?

Am I missing something really obvious?

up until the username and password there has been no request to enter my details
