Topic : XenServer Issues

Posted By: illumihost on September 28, 2014, 10:39 pm
I have done a fresh install of XenServer with Virtualizor installed over the top. However I am having a few issues which I cant seem to be able to resolve.

Server Spec
CPU: E3-1245v2
RAM: 32GB
OS: Citrix XenServer 6.2 SP1

Firstly I having issues with Virtualizor detecting the RAM on the server, though XenCenter the full 32GB is detected however virtualizor says 0 MB/0 MB.

XenCenter: http://i.snag.gy/1rcyL.jpg

Secondly I'm having issues with HVM not being available in the create new VPS options, If I just randomly change the settings in 'General Settings' eventually the option will appear and I can create HVM servers. You can see the missing option here: http://i.snag.gy/ML7Kd.jpg

Thirdly, I'm having network issues when creating new VPS instances, no network card is assigned to the server so there is no outside access to the instances, sometimes I can manually add in the network card in XenCenter and restart the VPS and I get network access, however with most HVM instances this doesn't work.

With these 3 issues its making my server useless at the moment, I really don't want to switch back to Xen. I can reboot the server and get a mixture of these issues, which is frustrating as I cant pinpoint what's causing this.

Is there something I am missing which fixes all this?
