Just copy the .raw file, I suggest to shutdown the VM before you do that to avoid data loss.

I'm not a Softaculous developer, but I'm pretty sure that this won't be implemented too soon.

You should consider switching qcow2/raw to LVM raw, Virtualizor will be able to handle live migrations and backups without issues.

It works pretty solid, even with thousand of snapshots per night. Give it a try before switching to non-updated SolusVM  :xd:

Hi,

Sir, Currently Backups are not supported for File Based (RAW/QCOW2) storage.

We will be adding support for File based storage  VPS Backup and restore in our coming releases.

Still waiting, you are adding lots of new features in 2.9.6 but still no file based storage backups, don't be like solus with false promises!

Hi,

Sir I understand that for file base storage is taking much time.
But we are trying to get the proper solution which can get the stable backup for the users and do not cause any issues in future.

Sorry for the delay in process.

Great i might switch to them, Virtualizor have been promising this is coming for how many years? but they can add cloud billing and Webuzo integration no problem, i doubt they will ever add support for file based backups, just continue the lie.

Hi,
Sir are looking for the consistent backup and do not want the users data to be lost in case of failure.Because qemu-img, does not support internal snapshots so it will create a backing file.
Proxmox is using another mehod which they have compiled and using with their latest kernel.
We are working on it and will add it soon.
Thank you.
