 Apache start problem, Apache will not start on os x 10.7.5 (7 Replies, Read 7851 times)

I am trying to get Ampps to work, but Apache will just not start.

What info do i need to post for you to help?

I have tried that, but doesn't work. Any other ideas?

There isn't anything blocking port 80, have tested for that

Hi,

Please run the following command in terminal,

sudo /Applications/AMPPS/apache/bin/httpd

and paste its output here. Also attach the Apache error logs here.

Here is the answer [Wed Oct 23 16:10:45 2013] [warn] NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1:443 has no VirtualHosts

Need to solve this problem can't work.

That is warning you can skip that. Please provide logs so we can look into the issue.

By the way are you on OS X 10.7 or 10.9 ?

httpd: Syntax error on line 537 of /Applications/AMPPS/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Could not open configuration file /Applications/AMPPS/python/python.conf: No such file or directory

Hi,

Open AMPPS GUI -> Apache Tab -> Configuration

Comment the line :
Include "/Applications/AMPPS/python/python.conf"

Save.

Try starting Apache then.
