Topic : paper_lantern/styled/basic/icons/softaculous.png: No such file or directory

Hi,

After updating to WHM 11.50 we see this error message in our logs.
Would you be able to fix this?
Can't stat /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/styled/basic/icons/softaculous.png: No such file or directory

I found this in the cPanel forum:

The problem with missing icons has been solved on our servers. It was
due to a Softaculous file which needs to be removed. If you're using
Softaculous, check if you have following file:

/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/dynamicui/dynamicui_softicons.conf

This file is not needed and should be removed. It has been replaced by
dynamicui_soft_div.conf and dynamicui_soft_div_icons.conf.

After deleting the file, run the sprite generator:
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/sprite_generator

Please can you confirm you are aware of this and as such working on it?

on one server it can't find the file and error message is still there when running the script.

ALL my cPanel servers have this, I am sure I am not the only one out there, please come with a working solution.

Hi,

Do you get this error while executing the sprites generator command ?

I just executed the sprites generator command on our server and did not get this error.

yes this is everyday in the Cron <root@server> /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp --cron

Part of the log shows this, I removed some lines to keep the thread small.

Sorted:

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites --force
/scripts/upcp --force

Error is gone from the log file.
