I have installed Magento2, but when I login, a system message:

Hi,

We have released the updated package of Magento 2.0 which will add the CRON job.

If you have not made any changes to your installation you can try to re-install Magento 2 and it should add the CRON job.

Let us know if you still face the issue.

Hi every body, ready for new year ?

I installed Magento 2.0 today with cron parameters but encontered the same issue : "Indexers are invalid". I then checked cron parameters through cPanel tool but it changed nothing.
Did you find a solution ?

I get the same message:
The installation package could not be found!
(see attached pic)

They tried to upgrade to PHP 5.6, which should be PHP 7 (I was going to upgrade after install, once folder has been created)

Did I do anything wrong?

Hi,

We are working on the CRON job issue and will release a fix soon.

Regarding the installation package could not be found issue can you please execute the following command on your server as root :
rm -rf /var/softaculous/magento2
and then try to install Magento 2

Let us know if you still face the issue.

Hi guys,

I also have an issue with magento 2 install - not sure if related.

It installs seemingly OK, however it appears that some files have not fully deployed in the process (see attachment)

I see there are trouble shooting posts around the web stating that I should run a cron job to deploy - but should the softaculous install not do this?

Cheers
Sam

Hi samuelwrighty,

Your problem is related to this I assume:

We experience this with our LiteSpeed webservers also. Is there a fix coming for this as well?

Hello I was wondering I noticed that it states cant install on windows. The other versions had no issue installing on windows. I was wondering and hoping there would be a solution. Should I duel boot my machine with linux and than redownload?
