Not sure if this has been asked before and sorry if it may be too simple to some of you but I have searched the forum and haven't been able to figure it out.

I am trying to setup/run this simple cron job but not sure where exactly to add/put this command. I installed Ampps on my localhost and my machine is MAC El Capitan. The ampps control panel does not have any cron interface so wasn't sure how to go about this.

* * * * * wget --spider -O - htt://localhost/act/cron/repost_media >/dev/null 2>&1

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I have done this but not sure if that would run a cron on ampps installation.

How can I tell if its working or not?
