Topic : How to remove Softaculous from a Wordpress install

I did not know the hosting company installed Wordpress with Softaculous. We created a new website on dev.mysite.com and when finished just copied over the files to mysite.com and changed the wp-config to the database that dev.mysite.com was using. When a new version of Wordpress came out, Admin accounts suddenly couldn't Add New plug-ins and you couldn't update Wordpress with one click inside the dashboard.

So I updated it manually and then found out about Softaculous which I removed the installation and uploaded the database. BUT a new version of Wordpress came out and once again Admin couldn't Add New plug-ins and click to update Wordpress. Does Softaculous install something in the datbase or is there some folder I have to get rid of to make Wordpress just behave normal? (I do not want Softaculous and in our Cpanel there no Softaculous installs)

Softaculous does not change any details that could cause disability to add plugins or update WordPress.
