Topic : Softaculous Error on cPanel 66.0.x

Hello,

After updating cPanel to 66's version, we often experiance error in both cPanel and WHM. Now, the Softaculous (open WHM > Plugins > Softaculous Instant Install and cPanel > Softaculous App Installer) not working and just showing blank page in Firefox and 500's Error Code in Google Chrome.

I tried to dig into /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log and found this error logs below.

I have tried to update cPanel using /scripts/upcp -force dan then restart the cPanel services but the problem is still happen. I also already install IonCubeLoader using WHM > Software > EasyApache4 > PHP Extensions

I also have tried to reinstall Softaculous the instructions from Softaculous Wiki Reinstall but still not working.

What should I have to do?

We are unable to replicate this issue on our WHM 11.66.x test servers.

Can you please open a support ticket with us so that we can check this for you ?

Same issue with Error 500 on WHM/cPanel 64 after today's autoupdate. Reinstalled Softaculous and it's back online again. Seems like something in /softaculous/enduser folder was broken..

Hi,

We will try replicating the issue on our servers by forcing cPanel update.

In case if you face the issue on any other server again please open a ticket with us before re-installing so that we can debug the issue and resolve the same.

Helo,

Thank you for Softaculous support. The problem is solved now.

The problem was in iscripts.php on /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser/ which partially downloaded.

I just deleted the iscripts.php file then go to WHM > Plugins > Softaculous Instant Installs and then in Softaculous Admin Center, I go to Software > General Scripts and then click Update Settings.

Walla, the softaculous now run normally in our cPanel.
