Hi,



I suggest CouchBase as a Document / Key/Value db, memcached
compliant, auto-sharding, zero downtime maintenance, simple management
with great admin admin gui, data replication and auto failover and so
on... well a first class free db.


All downloads available here including Linux 32/64bits distributions.

Hi,

It is a database server hence it cannot be added to Softaculous. It will need to be added to the control panel.

You mean it cannot be directly included into Softculous like mysql ?
If so, can it be downloaded and installed at will (user decision) ?

More or less, a user could ask to an installed softaculous :

- to download couchbase
- and then install it

So no problem for softaculous size as it's not integrated per default, it's just about download/installation in one click.

Couchbase has its own control panel so you don't even have to present commands in Softaculous control panel if you don't want to.

Hi,

Couchbase cannot be installed by Softaculous on a server as it is an addon and it needs to be installed by the control panel.
However the Webuzo team will review it and see if it can be added to Webuzo.

Couchbase gainsnever stop to gain in popularity, 2 releases have been releases since we last talked about. Did the Webuzo team review it ?

Sir you can certainly install CouchBase on your server using the rpms available on their website.

We shall contact the CouchBase Team to fetch a source package if available and provide one click installationk of the same.

Writing Couchbase clients 		Couchbase is publishing source archive for community releases only. And it is available on "All Downloads" page here:

http://couchbase.com/downloads-all

The most recent community version is 2.0.1. Couchbase 2.1.1 is going to be released in middle of September https://groups.google.com/d/msg/couchbase/s4XT3x_MITs/kWT72iWm4aIJ

We are building the package from source and it requires many a dependencies and which need to be installed and configured as well and thus implementation of the same is still under progress.
We are working on it and it will be made available ASAP.
However, there is no ETA for the same.

We have added many other system applications for one click installation.

We have CouchBase as well in our TO-DO list.

Yes, as well as all the applications supported by softaculous, they all can be installed and managed manually. The problem i have with this approach is that if i follow it, then the softaculous features page would become blank as Softaculous would become of no use if we dive in install and manage applications by ourselves.
