Topic : SuPHP doesn't work

Posted By: Error on March 28, 2014, 12:53 pm
I have tried to install script that require suPHP. I know this mod already installed here /usr/local/apps/php53/sbin/suphp but I think that is not installed correctly. I keep getting 500 Internal Server Error. Have tried mutiple times Check - Uncheck suPHP on Control Panel and reinstall webuzo.

Any solution?

Hi,

Seems you have a default installation of Apache on your server.

Remove the default Apache installation as follows
Root > yum remove httpd

Remove and Install Apache from the Webuzo Enduser Panel >> Apps >> Web servers >> Apache
Guide : http://www.webuzo.com/wiki/Install_System_Apps

Hope it helps \m/

SuPHP doesn't work here either - error 500

-> I have no default installation of apache -> see attachment 1
-> Already tried to remove and install apache via webuzo panel -> still error 500
-> Uncheck SuPHP in Webuzo solves the Error 500 but delivers other problems with file ownerships obviously
-> Webuzo-User owns public_html -> ID 500

Any suggestions ?

I will definitely NOT spread my root details. I prefer to fix this myself and learn how to fix those issues in the future.
Your job is to tell me and everybody else where to look into.
