Topic : 4.7.5 data directory scripts

I just upgraded to 4.7.5 and now I'm unable to install any scripts that require a data directory. If I create the directory I get an error that the directory exists and to specify another. If I let the app create it then I get an error that the domain is unreachable and to check dns yada yada. I've tried multiple scripts on multiple domains & subdomains, same error. All other scripts that don't require a data directory install flawlessly.

I just tested this on our servers and it seems to work fine.

Researching an unrelated issue I believe I found the problem, If anyone else comes across this, verify that the domain/subdomain are added to the /etc/hosts file and then installation is flawless.

Not sure what happened between cPanel and Softaculous updates, but the issue seams to be resolved with the simple addition to hosts
127.0.0.1 mydomain.com
