I have been using Ampps for a few weeks and thought I was figuring it out. It was working perfectly and then this evening apache just stopped in the middle of creating a new domain. I am running windows 7. I uninstalled, redownloaded, reinstalled ampps. Apache ran for about 30 seconds before shutting down and will not restart.
Here is the error log.

Any help would be appreciated

it appears that a google service took over port 80. I had to disconnet from the internet, restart computer and now it works.
But now when I try to install wordpress on a domain, I get the "need newer version of Ampps" message. "About" link says up to date 1.9. How do I update?

Just did it again. suddenly stopped working and will not restart. I noticed now that it happened when i tried to add a domain with a name instead of an ip.
Also after updating, all new domains redirected to 127.0.0.1. Everything looked okay with wordpress installed on the new domain, but when I went to the new domain it went to 127.0.0.1 instead. Now it quit entirely and will not start. Also on the laptop running it the site looked fine, but any computer on the lan got the stripped down site.
I also just installed wampserver and it works fine with no errors or port 80 problems but is not as user friendly as ammps and I would rather stay here.
please advise

Hi,

This bug has been fixed.
Please run cron(http://www.ampps.com/wiki/Category:FAQs#Cron_Command) or update Softaculous AMPPS from Admin Panel.
