The Softaculous Team is very happy to announce the launch of a new software - AMPPS i.e. Softaculous for Desktops :

AMPPS is an Apache, PHP, MySQL, Perl, Python and Softaculous STACK for desktops and office servers.
You can install AMPPS on your Windows Computers (Mac and Linux support is in progress).
AMPPS has all the 200+ Apps of Softaculous and we are adding more as well :)
It has all the latest software and we will be releasing new updates as and when they come out.AMPPS is an Apache, PHP, MySQL, Perl, Python and Softaculous STACK for desktops and office servers.

Version 1.0 has the following software :
Apache - 2.2.19
MYSQL - 5.5.13
PHP - 5.3.6 AND 5.2.17
Perl - 5.10.1
Python - 2.5.4

So what is so different about AMPPS ?
- First of all it has Softaculous inbuilt. So you get all the Scripts in Softaculous to use on your desktop and office servers.
- The performance of your Apps are much better.
- Great for Office Usage. You can deploy apps like MediaWiki, ERP, CRM, HRM, Task Managers, etc. even if you don't know how to install them.
- You can deploy 200+ Apps.
- Dual PHP version support. AMPPS has PHP 5.3.6 and PHP 5.2.17. You can change by the click of a button.
- Great for Web Developers. If you are a web developer and often install scripts, you can simply use AMPPS. Our stack has the latest versions of PHP, MySQL and all the 200+ scripts.
- PERL and Python is also supported and Auto Installation of PERL scripts and Python scripts will soon be available.
