Hi,

I am aware to the fact that we can add check boxes, in order to add a plugin, on the Wordpress installation page. My question is, how can I make sure that while Wordpress is being installed it would also install and activate the desired plugin.

Do I need to download the plugin and put it on the server?
Can command Wordpress to include the plugin in the installation process?

What's the right way?

Hi,

Please check the following documentation to add a plugin to your WordPress package:
http://softaculous.com/docs/Adding_Plugins

In this documentation, you will find a sample zip file you can refer to that file and create your own mod.php and mod_install.xml

In mod.php you can find sample code to unzip the plugin and activate the plugin in __post_mod_install

Please refer the same and create a copy of mod.php for your own plugin.

mod_install.xml will allow you to add a checkbox for the Plugin that you want to show and once the user clicks the checkbox and then clicks on install button. The Plugin that you have added to WordPress package will be installed and activated with the help of mod.php
