Topic : Proving to customers that they have dedicated CPUs

Posted By: AboYousef on July 24, 2016, 10:18 pm
Hello, I know this may sound unusual but is there a way
For Virtualizor to pass through info like how many VPSs
Are on the node? or ho many cores are assigned in total?
The idea is simple, no one will belief that a provider is really
Offering a dedicated resources (specially CPUs) KVM based VPS
And I want to know if there is any way to pass some real info or
States to the clients so they can actually know how many users
are on the node or how much resource are assigned ?

Thanks

You could use the API to present this information to your customers, or query the database directly.

Personally I don't see the point. You might as well just state on your website "we don't oversell" or "we don't overload our servers". If your customers don't believe this, then they aren't going to believe whatever (potentially made up) figure you tell them either!

Thanks for the response...
A new provider who offers some VPS plans with %100 dedicated CPUs (and RAM of course!)
The problem is that he is introducing really really good prices!  So I was looking for a way to
To use Virtualizor to prove to customers that they actually have a VPS with a dedicated CPUs
So would you please explain suggestion more....
Thanks a a lot..

It depends on actual configuration of the node and varies from one service provider to another.

If the user has root access to his VPS account he can check the dedicated resources allocated to his account.
