First, apologies in advance for this post. I haven't used LVM in 7 years and seemingly forgot everything I knew since operating a fairly large xen cluster.

I have a CentOS 6.4 box installed from scratch with the following setup:

# df -h

I've installed Virtualizor for Xen and unfortunately only found after the install that the Volume group I specified in the installer must be empty/not mounted.

Can anyone give me advice on how to resize this vg and add a new one for Xen/Virtualizor to use?

Hi,

Sir, you will need to shrink the /root LV and only then this can be used for Virtualizor VM Creation.
Its going to be a long process. Its better you simply reinstall the OS with the following partition scheme :
