I have a client testing out my VPS before i migrate all my clients, but when he clicks on any product in  Softaculous he gets this error message

"The INFO.XML file could not be found! Please report this to the Server Admin."

Sorry for the late reply.
Just run the following Shell command as root:
Root> php /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/softaculous/cron.php

Are you shifting servers or is it the same server ?

i am on a cpanel VPS and have no other servers, so
i also suggest you sort this out.

As I have mentioned in the email to you your server has Direct Admin as well as cPanel on the same server.
We had set the settings for Direct Admin VPS BECOZ you sent us the details for Direct Admin.

Now if you want we can redo it for cPanel and take out Direct Admin from it.

AS A PROOF I have also sent you the Login URL for Direct Admin if you are unaware of.

Let me assure you sir we can do it in no time but we need a confirmation that you want it on cPanel or Direct Admin.

why would i need it on DA when my server only has cpanel.  i can provide proof from my supplier that i only have cpanel on my server

The emails from your email account. I have checked the headers and you can check them as well.

I guess your HOster has confused you by sending two emails.
And you forwarding us the wrong email by mistake.

Now everything is working and we have installed SOftaculous for you as well.
