Topic : change default browser(Linux)

Hey guys.

I read this post for MAC http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=4030

I installed ampps on linux OpenSuSe 13.1 KDE.
When i clicked in the Ampps-Panel the link to my home site, open firefox. But firefox is a other firefox as me. I loses all my plugins.

OK i change my default browser in my KDE settings. Not works. Open firefox without my plugins.

Are the settings from a KDE-User or the settings from root - user?

Hi,

We do not modify system application such as firefox.
Ampps just opens link in your default web browser.

you will need to check your system settings yourself. we will be unable to help you in this matter.

Please see the screenshot. I have change my default browser from firefox to chromium.

When i open links in my email program or html-files opening chromium. I clicked in the ampps panel of the button for my home site. opening firefox.
