Topic : Why not mysqlnd on OS X

Posted By: jostyposty on June 10, 2014, 6:57 am
I thought mysqlnd was the default after PHP 5.3, but it seems you have built PHP with the following:
Code
--with-pdo-mysql=shared

Any suggestions on how to get mysqlnd working with AMMPS on Mac? I want to use PHP 5.5, by the way.

Just installed AMPPS and have run into the same issue. Disappointing no one has responded to your question. Did you ever find an answer? Or is the answer just build apache/php/mysql and not use AMPPS?

Sad to say I had to use a separate php installation. I managed without apache, just using php's built-in web server.

I was really hoping the newest version of AMPPS was fixing this, so sad to hear you have the same issue.

Ok thanks for the response ... guess I'll be ditching AMPPS and just going with it all native in OSX. Should have just done that from the start but tried to go the easy route. That's what I get.  =)
