Topic : Moodle 5.0.1 install problem

Hi!

When installing Moodle 5.0.1 the progress bar freezes randomly ( sometimes at 20%, sometimes at 81% ... ).

The installation works well; the files are there, the database too, the app works ... everything seems fine. Even Softaculous, if open on a different browser tab, sees the installation after a while and lists it on the installations tab.

But the progress bar on the installation process never reaches 100%

I didn't see this reported anywhere; is there anywhere else I couldreport it to devs?

Hi,

Can you please check if you see any errors in the Console of your browser ?

We tried to install Moodle 5.0.2 via Softaculous and it worked well.

thanks or checking.

I've checked the xhr calls on the browser console, and I think I've detected the problem; thanks a lot for the hint.

I'm marking the topic as solved for now, while I do some more testing; if I find anything new related to Softaculous, I will let you know.
