Topic : Error installing limesurvey

Hi guys,
I'm trying to install limesurvey on my VPS (Centos7, CWP, Softaculous) but I have an error while installing it.
It goes as far as 85-89% and then "oops, connection has been lost".

Nothing is in the folder, nothing in the DB.

Do you have similar issues reported by others? (I could not check with previous versions of softaculous neither previous limesurvey (current is Version : 2.64.2+)

The stock "out-of-the-box reply" does NOT help those of us who are searching for answers to questions others have often already asked.

Support has dropped the ball right there over and again, and so far on every question I have had that brought me to this forum.

In most support forums that have public access, if a solution has been found to a problem, all are encouraged to share the solution so the rest of us having same or similar issues can benefit.

I would like to suggest that the Softaculous Support staff do the same.

This issue seems to be ongoing since the package release date is very recent.

LimeSurvey Version: 3.25.10+ Release Date: 28-01-2021

I would like to suggest that the Softaculous Support staff do the same.

Hi,

There could be two reasons for this issue :
1. The permission for Softaculous binary is incorrect. This can be fixed by executing the following commands as ROOT :
https://www.softaculous.com/docs/admin/repair-binary-utility/

2. Your server is unable to communicate with Softaculous servers.
Please make sure your server is able to fetch files from our mirror servers mentioned here :
https://www.softaculous.com/docs/admin/system-requirements/#system-requirements
